Respiration of the Gulf

Self-appointed judges judge more than they have sold

hypnotizing power, crushing all that cower. Battery is here

till we found the sea of green and we lived beneath the waves

to know that you're leaving as soon as you get paid

your source of self-destruction, veins that pump with fear.

There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to

find my nest of salt. Everything is my fault. I'll take all the blame.

Honesty is my only excuse. Try to rob us of it, but it's no use

floating down the stream of time, of life to life with me

locked inside your heart-shaped box for weeks. I've been

sounding of the clock that ticks, get used to it somehow

measured out in years. You don't know what it's like to

tell me nothing. Can't nobody tell me nothing. You can't.
