Simultaneously Subverting

Considering whether to use new fertility methods to implant only

men would work on the oil rigs and be gone for months at a time

if I only saw them once a year and could remember their ghosts

was an antique clock that struck the hour and half hour, and

a group of teenage boys stops to peer in the window. They are

to me simultaneously that of all natural forces, vitality

mentally weaving, under and over. Then, suddenly,

I could see something white moving around inside.

The heady villainous feeling continued

flopping as though they belonged to

a moment before exhaling.
