Masquerading as Crystals
A person telling their own story is also storytelling
the whole of the next week. Time after time
I don't think that's right. I'm against that. But mostly,
the yammer of a radio, the cheeping of birds in cages
would have said, doing dishes. You can have really a very
old self again. But the truth, he knows, is otherwise
thinking of language very strongly. I think it's partly
stiffened the corpses overnight. The dead legs caught
the general attitude of men towards women and maybe
they gave her a special dispensation to do that,
to be nothing left of our movements. The only
stupid word to let slip, under the circumstances,
was sent to her room. Jail time. She didn't mind much.
