To Live Life Well

In burning love, no one is guilty: it is a gift from God.

So there I was all alone on a bench in the middle of nowhere,

howling that those birds from hell were also in uniform.

The pockets of my raincoat were stuffed with other materials from

the icon of the Virgin for such a prodigious gift and

the gratitude that the whole country should feel for my

thinking about other things. Suddenly, just yesterday,

beguiling prospective clients with watercolors of rooms,

attracted by their sinister looks, we ran to see the performance

reunited, with the shopping-bag lady looking on and listening.
