The Equivocal Chrysalis

To keep from stuffing myself with food and drinking a whole bottle of

their vision, to receive their true names, their adult names,

a regular commerce with a colorful character they dubbed "The Fat Man"

wrote the line ‘A dark man with no face,’ and then combined it with

intricate necklaces of flowers in front of different altars. It was

talking about pictures and letters and stuff like that

would go on occasional binges, like the time they rented a cheap

theme in his books in an effort to eradicate it—after all, he forgot

all the cans of butter the Board sent to us from San Francisco

alone and I watch the cockroaches live their complicated lives

cascading over the barricades like lemmings over a cliff. During

several days on the movie set, hashing out the story line and

awakened by what seemed to be the noises of sex,

your scent is still here in my place of recovery

of a long-festering problem dating back.
