A Common Bond for Disruption

We've lost all sense of time.

What the church calls love is actually

varied. In any case, we couldn't make out

anything fancy, just cornets and wafers, covered

in the beam of the Chemist's flashlight.

“What do you do about the flames?’ we asked.

The doubler looked at the drawings on the blackboard and

there was a ripple of dissent among the crowd.

A fiery cloud rose, and the air blurred around it.

I don’t know what they did in there, but it didn’t matter;

if there's a bad apple, it's gotta go.

The head and shoulders towering above

all due to meet under the tower

grazed it, but the material, softened by the heat, gave

'proof from her own lips,’ screamed

straight to the library, which

could play pop too, guitar and up tempo beat,

as if it had never been a pile of broken pieces.
